FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How can I cancel or reschedule a visit?

Call the registration desk: 12 446 46 10 (private care), 12 446 46 20 (primary care) or 12 300 48 16 (Proszowice). You can also cancel by writing to rejestracja@cm-skopia.pl or using the contact form on this page.

What should I bring to a visit or examination?

An identity document and any earlier test results relevant to your visit — for an orthopaedic ultrasound these are imaging results and documentation after an injury, for a cytology test an identity document. Recommendations for a given examination are given on its page, and the registration desk confirms them if in doubt.

Do I need to fast before the examination?

It depends on the examination. Gastroscopy is performed on an empty stomach — no food or drink for 8 hours beforehand — as are breath tests. Colonoscopy requires a three-day diet and a bowel preparation. Orthopaedic and transfontanellar ultrasound require no preparation. For other examinations the registration desk confirms the recommendations.

How do I collect my test results?

Laboratory results are made available in the online service of the laboratory that performed them — you need the login details received when the sample was taken. Details are described on the „Test results” page. A result does not replace a consultation: it is interpreted by a doctor.
